finally got paid! stupid air force

So the Air Force finally made the $3100 deposit in my account I should have gotten about two months ago. Better late than never, right? Yeah, except for the $200 in extra late fees I have to pay now...
Anyway, I can pay Clark back the money I had to borrow from him to make the first payment, as well as the payments for October and November. Of course, at this time, I also owe rent and a credit card payment, therefore leaving my bank account seriously hurting. Blah.
That means Clark will be able to put down a pretty good down payment on his truck. I'm glad he's finally getting something to drive. I know he is too!
So this weekend was amazing! We left for Atlanta at about 6:30 Saturday morning, and made the 650-mile trip by 4 that afternoon. There was a little sullen silence around Charlotte, something I said pissed him off and then I got pissed, you know how it goes... but we got through it by South Carolina. After we got checked into the hotel (and had sex, of course... it'd been since Friday night so we were due) we went to this haunted house in Atlanta called Netherworld. It was pretty good, but not as good as Nightmares. There were too many people, and it was too well-lit. Nightmares was pitch-black and you could only go through in groups of four, and you had to grope your way around these dark rooms with all these live people breathing down your neck...
We got dinner and got back to the hotel, where all I wanted to do was collapse in exhaustion after driving the whole way and going to that haunted house. We got up around 7 the next morning, but didn't realize the time had changed. We got breakfast at the hotel and hit the road for the hour drive to the racetrack. We were surprised by how thin the traffic seemed.
That is, until we were parked and walking around the souvenir haulers, when we were heard a radio deejay saying some people had forgotten about the time change and gotten there before anyone was open. So we felt pretty dumb.
The race was great, except Bobby SUCKED and Gordon finished 2nd. Argghhhhhh! Everyone around us was drinking, but Clark's sworn off the beer since his little outburst a couple weeks ago, so I didn't drink either. It was weird walking out of there stone sober.
Carl Edwards won and we got to see his back flip.
Sunday night sucked though. I was very tired and not in the mood for sex, which caused a huge ruckus. Actually, the opposite of a ruckus. Clark wouldn't talk to me. I couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to try to figure out why.
The next morning, he still wouldn't talk to me and got a shower by himself and then went and got breakfast by himself while I was in the shower. He got back to the room, and then I left to go get my own breakfast. He wandered into the hotel lobby and sat down with me. I was so mad I didn't want to talk to him, but I knew it was a stupid reason we weren't talking and I didn't want to spend the whole ride home mad at him. We went back to the room and apologized, then had sex. We finally hit the road at 9.
We got back to College Park about 6:30, had another quickie while trick-or-treaters banged on the door, and then I took him to Queenstown to meet his dad. All in all, I drove about 1600 miles over three days.
Now I'm back in school and work, he's back at work, and it's back to the same old thing. This weekend I have to go to Dover for my UTA, but Clark's going to stay with me Friday and Saturday night, and then I get to spend Sunday night with him before I have to go back for class Monday morning.
I really hate the week. All I do is work, between school and my job. I'm glad I don't work weekends at all though, so Clark and I can spend them together.
